L. Robert Enterprises (LRE) is a leading provider of fabrication, welding and structural steel erection and heavy duty and mechanical maintenance services to the oil sands and construction industry in northern Alberta. Founded in 1980, LRE has a proven record of providing services to support the activities of oil sands owners and other companies operating in one of the most unique energy markets in the world. To meet the requirements of our clients, LRE has the flexibility to provide union and non-union services.

The safety of our people is paramount to the success of LRE. Whether working in our facilities or on our clients’ sites, safety is our top priority and we strive to ensure that, “Everyone Arrives Home Safe Everyday.” LRE has a number of full-time HSE employees and all staff completes a range of safety training as well as training to operate specialized equipment. Other training includes computer based training as well as required training from our clients, industry associations and legislative requirements.

FACILITIES AND MOBILE SERVICES

To service the needs of our clients LRE has more than 50,000 sq feet of shop space in Fort McMurray and Fort McKay, Alberta. These facilities include more than 27,500 square feet of space designed for heavy duty and vehicle maintenance and over 23,500 square feet of space for fabrication, welding, structural steel erection and piping work. LRE also has a fleet of mobile welding trucks and mechanical service trucks to service the needs of our clients directly on their sites. These facilities and mobile services combined with skilled labour gives LRE the ability to service our clients on a 24/7 basis.
