CEDA Selected as Oilsands Review 2010 Supplier of the Year Runner-Up

CALGARY, ALBERTA—CEDA International Corporation (CEDA) has been chosen as Oilsands Review’s 2010 oil sands supplier of the year runner up.
Every year, Oilsands Review (and its sister publication, Oilweek), celebrate two companies; a Producer and a Supplier, for their economic, environmental and social performance–firms that truly made a difference to the oil sands industry. Since its inception in 1973, CEDA has specialized in the delivery of maintenance and turnaround services to the oil sands market in northern Alberta. CEDA recently launched a mobile wash bay unit to help oil sands operators conserve water and reduce their environmental footprint. The CEDA wash bay system enables oil sands operators to recycle water and can save owners from using more than 5 Million gallons or water per year. Other newly offered CEDA services include pigging and decoking, patented hydro-testing and pipe isolation, dredging, dewatering, pumping and utility maintenance services.
Some of the more recognized CEDA oil sands services include catalyst handling, automated bundle and exchanger cleaning, high pressure and chemical cleaning, leak repair as well as electrical and instrumentation services and a range of mechanical services including repairs and alteration of piping, vessels, boilers and fired heaters as well as joint integrity, corrosion protection and portable field machining.
CEDA is also recognized as a leading provider of abrasive blasting and coatings, fireproofing, fabrication, welding and steel erection and heavy duty and automotive services to the oil sands industry. Other CEDA services include emergency response services to assist with handling of hazardous materials. These services include chemical spill containment and clean-up, unstable chemical disposal and biohazardous recovery services.
