Catalyst Services Receives Multiple Safety Awards

CALGARY, ALBERTA—CEDA International Corporation (CEDA) is pleased to announce that Catalyst Services has received safety awards from the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA), Industrial Safety Training Council (ISTC) and Shell Oil Company.

Catalyst Services received the Contractor Award for Meritorious Safety Performance from NPRA at their annual awards banquet in San Antonio, Texas. This award recognizes those contractors working a minimum of 20,000 hours per calendar year at a regular member facility who have achieved a total recordable incidence rate of 1.0 or less with no workplace related fatality during the calendar year. The contractor must be nominated by a regular member facility during the application process.

Catalyst Services was also recognized by ISTC, which awards the safety achievements of contractors working in the petroleum, refining and petrochemical manufacturing industries of Southeast Texas. Catalyst Services received the following awards: ISTC Safety Achievement Award for Incidence Rate, ISTC Safety Achievement Award for Hours Worked and ISTC Safety Achievement Award for Years Worked. The awards publicly recognize the excellent record of safety operations attained by contractors working in the busy region of the Gulf Coast. The awards were given out at a Safety Awards Banquet on May 11, 2010 in Beaumont, Texas. Catalyst Services was nominated for this award by Exxon Mobil.

Lastly, Catalyst Services was also recognized and received Shell Oil Company Deer Park's 2009 Contractor HSE Award in March, 2010.
