CASCA Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification
May 15, 2010

The process to become ISO certified is a laborious achievement that can take up to two years. To be eligible for certification, CASCA was required to:

  • Develop quality manuals, procedures, work instructions and controlled documents
  • Demonstrate how each company department functions– individually and as a whole
  • Develop a QMS (quality management system) and records
  • Complete internal audits on QMS system
  • Successfully complete a Stage 1 audit by an ISO Registrar
  • Develop more documentation and records in order to perform Stage 2 audit
  • Successfully complete Stage 2 audit consisting of an ISO auditor inspecting all documents and records, interviewing employees, reviewing our processes and inspecting entire QMS.

After successfully completing all required phases, CASCA received its official ISO 9001:2008 Certificate. CASCA will complete a yearly audit performed by QMI SAI Global to maintain its ISO standing with the third year as recertification.
