Established in 1992, Lasso Maintenance provides fireproofing, sandblasting and painting services to industrial sites in Fort McMurray, primarily at Syncrude. LASSO employs approximately 40 union and 5 non-union employees. LASSO has an excellent reputation for quality work, a strong track record of employee safety and customer satisfaction.

In August 31, 2006, CEDA International Corporation of Calgary, Alberta acquired Lasso Maintenance. CEDA International is a leading provider of industrial services and, with the acquisition of Lasso Maintenance, now consists of over 2200 employees across North America.
